Litigation Paralegal

Draft pleadings, summons, complaints, notices of filings, notices of motion and supporting affidavits. Prepare draft court orders. Create and maintain pleadings indexes. E-file pleadings with court. Calendar hearing dates and filing deadlines. Organize case files. Discovery : Draft interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, and other discovery Client contact to develop responses and other requests. Create and maintain discovery indexes and privilege logs. Calendar discovery deadlines. Organize, review and analyze documents for production. Prepare deposition summaries.
Pre-Trial: Organize and index exhibits, prepare trial binders, manage voluminous files. Act as liaison between trial team and third-parties (witnesses, clients, vendors, experts, court personnel).Prepare and issue subpoenas .Prepare witness files. Manage scheduling and communication for depositions.
Trial: Act as right-hand to attorneys including preparing and overseeing electronic exhibit presentation. Organize exhibits, documents and evidence. Arrange for transport and set up of files and exhibits at court. Prepare and issue subpoenas. Assist in witness preparation. Act as liaison between clients, witnesses, experts and trial team.

Strong critical thinking, organizational and communications skills. Strong MS Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook skills required. Bachelor degree preferred, paralegal certification a plus. 2 Years exp Salary: $43,000.00 to $45,000.00 year
